Arkansas

Kyle and Swin are low-level drug runners operating in Arkansas under orders from a boss known as Frog, a man they have never met. Their arrangement depends on following instructions without drawing attention. When one of their jobs goes badly wrong, the consequences put both men and the life they have built at risk, and Frog is less than pleased.

Clark Duke directed and co-wrote the film with Andrew Boonkrong, and also plays Swin. It was his first feature as director; his second, Stranglehold, followed in 2026. Liam Hemsworth plays Kyle, with Vince Vaughn as Frog, John Malkovich as Bright, Eden Brolin as Johanna and Vivica A. Fox. Production involved Media Finance Capital, Sprockefeller Pictures, Buffalo 8 and Jeff Rice Films, and the film runs 117 minutes.

Arkansas was released in May 2020. It drew modest audience scores, sitting at 6.1 from around 17,000 votes on IMDb and 5.8 from a much smaller pool on TMDB, while the critics' rating stands at 5.7 from 69 reviews, leaving critical and audience response closely aligned.
