Hyakkaou Private Academy is an elite school for the wealthy where social standing is determined by gambling rather than academics or athletics. Those who win gain wealth and power, while those who lose face severe hardship. The arrival of a new student, Yumeko Jabami, disrupts this environment as she pursues the excitement of high-stakes games.

Directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa, this film follows his work on Real Girl and precedes his direction of Grand Blue. The screenplay was written by Minato Takano.
