Crypto is a crime thriller about Martin, a young agent specialized in digital currency and anti-money laundering. While investigating corruption and fraud in New York, he discovers a complex money laundering scheme involving the Russian mafia and the illegal sale of art. As he delves deeper into the conspiracy, Martin finds himself in a dangerous situation that also involves his own family and a network of corrupt accountants.

The film was directed by John Stalberg Jr. and is the second work in his chronology, following High School. The cast features Beau Knapp, Alexis Bledel, Luke Hemsworth, Kurt Russell, Jeremie Harris, and Jill Hennessy.
