Following a wedding ceremony where the groom suddenly disappears, the remaining guests decide to continue the celebration. To comfort the bride, the attendees share various personal accounts of romantic failure. These stories focus on the awkwardness, dishonesty, and bad luck associated with unrequited love and the unexpected complications of married life, illustrating how attempts at seduction often end in misfortune.
