The Beast

The Beast is a South Korean crime thriller centered on the investigation of a brutal murder after a girl's mutilated body is discovered in the tidelands of Incheon. Two detectives, Han-Su and Min-Tae, are tasked with solving the case. The two men are long-time rivals with opposing investigative methods who are forced to work together. Their conflict is intensified by the prospect of a promotion for whoever solves the crime first. As the investigation progresses, one detective enters a secret agreement with a criminal to secure leads, while the other becomes suspicious of his colleague's actions.

Directed by Lee Jeong-ho, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jeong Ui-mok, the film stars Lee Sung-min as Jung Han-su and Yoo Jae-myung as Han Min-tae. The supporting cast includes Jeon Hye-jin, Choi Daniel, Kim Ho-jung, and Kim Hong-pa. Produced by Next Entertainment World and Studio & New, the movie has a runtime of 130 minutes.
