Short description
Set in Buenos Aires, Argentina, this thriller follows a thief named Ciro who breaks into a high-end SUV to steal its contents. After entering the vehicle, he discovers that the doors have locked and the control panel is unresponsive. Trapped inside an armored car with tinted windows during intense heat, he finds himself unable to escape or signal for help. The situation evolves into a psychological struggle when it becomes clear that the vehicle is being controlled remotely.
Directed by Mariano Cohn, this was the first of three films he directed, followed by Official Competition and Homo Argentum. The screenplay was written by Cohn and Gastón Duprat. The movie stars Peter Lanzani as Ciro, alongside Dady Brieva, Luis Brandoni, Noelia Castaño, Valeria Mitidieri, and Irina Matozza.
Produced by Mediapro and Televisión Abierta, the film had a budget of 3 million USD and earned 1 million USD at the worldwide box office. On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 5.7/10 based on 3,200 votes, while on TMDB it has a score of 6.3/10 from 154 votes. Film critics gave the movie a higher rating of 7.1/10 based on 16 reviews.

- On the street, you can notice a billboard for a non-existent sequel to the thriller 'The Neighbor' (2009), directed by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat. Cohn directed 'Trapped,' and he wrote the screenplay for 'Trapped' with Duprat.
- The central idea of the plot was borrowed from a similar case in Brazil in 2016. The hijacker found himself locked inside the car he was attempting to steal, as the security system cut off the power inside the vehicle, turning it into a trap.
