White Lie

Katie Arneson is a university dance student who pretends to have cancer to gain the attention and support of her peers. Through a falsified diagnosis and fake fundraising, she becomes a campus celebrity with a close circle of friends and a romantic partner. Her deception is threatened when she applies for a scholarship reserved for ill students. To keep the funding and maintain her ruse, Katie must produce authentic medical records within a week.
