The Swiss Adventure
Short description
A teenage servant falls for the daughter of a wealthy merchant, and she loves him back. Her parents have a different match in mind: a suitor of higher standing and poorer character. The boy is torn from the girl and pressed into the army of General Alexander Suvorov, where he joins the celebrated campaign in the Swiss mountains, wins the trust of the commander and his soldiers, and disrupts an enemy scheme. The story, told in animation, rests on the idea that ordinary people can rise to heroism when love drives them.

What's left behind the scenes
- When creating the locations of St. Petersburg, the artists relied on existing documentary images of the streets from those years. During this process, it was discovered that Saint Isaac's Cathedral on Senate Square previously looked quite different. The architecture of the building was slightly exaggerated in the film, but overall it looks as the third version of the cathedral was constructed in the 18th century.
- Composer Ivan Uryupin, along with star performers, also took part in recording the vocal parts for the film. His voice can be heard in the composition 'Suvorov's Eagles'.
