Sole

Lena is a pregnant woman who agrees to sell her unborn child to a couple, Fabio and Bianca, who are unable to conceive. To bypass Italian laws, she and a man named Ermanno, Fabio's nephew, pretend to be a couple and the child's parents to facilitate a fake family adoption. Though they are strangers who initially clash due to their selfish natures, living together until the birth causes them to develop genuine feelings for one another.

Directed by Carlo Sironi, this drama was the first of two films he directed, preceding My Summer With Irène. The movie was a co-production between Italy and Poland, produced by RAI, Lava Films, and Kino Produzioni. The cast features Sandra Drzymalska as Lena and Claudio Segaluscio as Ermanno, alongside Bruno Buzzi and Barbara Ronchi. The screenplay was written by Carlo Sironi, Antonio Manca, and Giulia Moriggi.
