0.0MHz is a Korean horror film about a group of young people in a supernatural research club of the same name. They travel to a remote house with a dark history, a place locals associate with a violent death and a hostile spirit, to carry out a ritual connected to the frequency their club is named after. What they expect to investigate soon turns into a confrontation with something far more dangerous.
The film was released in 2019 and runs 102 minutes. It was written and directed by Yoo Sun-dong, and stars Jung Won-chang, Choi Yoon-young, Shin Ju-hwan, Jung Eun-ji, Lee Sung-yeol and Nam Jung-hee. It was produced by Smile Ent., Monster Factory and Spotlight Pictures.
Audience response has been modest. On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 4.9 out of 10 from around 1,400 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 5.2 out of 10 from a much smaller base of 52 votes. The two scores sit close together, suggesting a limited but fairly consistent reception among those who have seen it, with the larger IMDb sample pointing to a generally muted verdict.
