Hotel Transylvania: Transformania

When Van Helsing's Monsterfication Ray goes wrong, the residents of Hotel Transylvania are flipped: Dracula and his monster friends become human, while Johnny turns into a monster. Stripped of his powers, Dracula must team up with Johnny, who is enjoying his new monstrous form, and travel the world in search of a cure before the change becomes permanent. Mavis and the rest of the group try to help the mismatched pair along the way.

The film is directed by Derek Drymon and Jennifer Kluska, working from a screenplay by Genndy Tartakovsky, Nunzio Randazzo and Amos Vernon. It follows the short Monster Pets: A Hotel Transylvania Short in both directors' filmographies. Andy Samberg voices Johnny, Selena Gomez returns as Mavis, and Kathryn Hahn, Jim Gaffigan, Steve Buscemi and Molly Shannon are among the credited voice cast.

Released in early 2022, the animated adventure runs 92 minutes. Against a budget of about 75 million dollars it took in roughly 19 million worldwide. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6 out of 10 from around 47,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 7 out of 10 from a much smaller pool of about 3,100 votes, and a critics' rating of 5.1 out of 10 from 77 reviews places it below both audience scores.
