A Greyhound of a Girl

A Greyhound of a Girl follows Mary, a young student in Dublin who shares a deep bond and a love for cooking with her grandmother, Emer. As Emer faces a terminal illness and struggles to let go of life, a mysterious young woman appears. This stranger is the ghost of Emer's own mother, who has returned to help her daughter find peace and pass safely into the afterlife. To achieve this, the ghost enlists the help of Mary and her mother, Scarlett. Together, four generations of women embark on a nocturnal car journey through the family's history to facilitate a final farewell.

The animated fantasy drama was directed by Enzo D'Alò, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Dave Ingham. This production is the third feature directed by D'Alò, following Lucky and Zorba and Pinocchio. The voice cast features Charlotte Infussi D'Amico as Mary, Maria Pia Di Meo as Emer, Maricla Affatato as Scarlett, and Valentina Favazza as Tansey, with a total of 34 credited cast members.
