SAS: Red Notice

SAS: Red Notice follows Tom Buckingham, an off-duty special forces soldier travelling from London to Paris with his girlfriend, Dr. Sophie Hart. Their journey is interrupted when a group of armed mercenaries seizes the train inside the Channel Tunnel. Buckingham, who has been struggling to find time for his partner, is drawn into action to protect the passengers and stop the attack. While the situation on board grows more dangerous, developments among political and security figures elsewhere shape whether anyone will get out of the tunnel alive. The film is an action drama based on the novel by former SAS member Andy McNab.

The film was directed by Magnus Martens, working from a screenplay by Laurence Malkin, who also produced alongside Kwesi Dickson and Andy McNab. It was Martens's first feature in this list of his credits, followed by There's Something in the Barn in 2023. Sam Heughan leads as Buckingham, with Ruby Rose as Grace Lewis, Andy Serkis as George Clements, Tom Wilkinson as William Lewis, Tom Hopper as Declan Smith and Hannah John-Kamen as Dr. Sophie Hart. It runs 120 minutes and was made across several countries, with production involving Ingenious Media, Altitude Film Entertainment, Lipsync Productions and Creativity Capital.

Released in August 2021, the film drew a mixed response. It holds a rating of 5.2 out of 10 on IMDb from over twenty thousand votes and 5.8 out of 10 on TMDB from a much smaller number of votes. A critics' rating of 4.9 out of 10 from twenty-two reviews places it below the audience score on TMDB.
