Verotika

Verotika is a horror anthology built from three separate tales that mix eroticism with violence and the occult. The stories come from adult comics written by Glenn Danzig, who makes his feature directing debut here and also wrote the screenplay with Bridgid Ryan. The segments follow a range of characters, including an exotic dancer, a figure connected to an albino spider, and a cruel ruler with a taste for blood. Much of the action centers on female protagonists in states of undress or danger.

Danzig is best known as the vocalist of the Misfits and Danzig, and Verotika was the first film he directed, followed by Death Rider in the House of Vampires in 2021. The cast includes Kayden Kross, Rachele Richey, Rachel Alig, Alice Tate, Scotch Hopkins and Natalia Borowsky, among 57 credited performers. It was produced by Cleopatra Entertainment, UFO Pictures and Dark Risen Pictures and runs 89 minutes.

Reception has been poor across every measure. On IMDb it holds a rating of 1.9 from around 2,200 votes, and on TMDB it sits at 3.3 from a much smaller sample of 56 votes. A critics' rating of 2.8 from 18 reviews is close to the audience scores, so both viewers and reviewers responded to the film in similar fashion.
