Good Gals

Set in the early 1980s, this comedy follows four women who attempt to improve their difficult lives through crime. Struggling with unemployment, domestic abuse, and a desire for a better future, the group decides to rob a local bank while disguised as men. Their reckless actions trigger a series of events that permanently alter their lives and draw the attention of Commissioner Morandi, who is tasked with investigating the robberies.

Directed by Michela Andreozzi, this was the first of four films she has directed, followed by Still Fabulous, Unicorni, and Still Sexy. The screenplay was written by Andreozzi and Alberto Manni. The ensemble cast includes Ambra Angiolini, Ilenia Pastorelli, Serena Rossi, and Silvia D'Amico as the four women, alongside Stefania Sandrelli and Luca Argentero.
