Dear David

A comic artist named Adam begins experiencing disturbing events in his apartment after reacting to internet trolls. As he documents these malevolent occurrences through a series of social media posts, he becomes convinced that he is being haunted by the spirit of a dead child called David. The situation escalates as Adam struggles to distinguish between his online narrative and his physical reality.

The horror thriller was directed by John McPhail, following his 2018 film Anna and the Apocalypse and preceding his 2025 project Grow. The movie was produced by Lionsgate, Rideback, CR8IV DNA, and BuzzFeed Studios, with a screenplay written by Mike Van Waes.
