The Courier
Short description
A crime boss named Ezekiel Mannings attempts to eliminate Nick, the sole witness prepared to testify against him. To achieve this, Mannings hires a motorcycle courier to deliver a gas bomb without her knowledge. After the woman saves Nick from the attack, the two must fight through a group of professional killers to survive the night.
Directed by Zackary Adler, this film followed his 2017 project Rise of the Footsoldier 3. The movie stars Olga Kurylenko in the title role, Gary Oldman as the antagonist, and Amit Shah as Nick. The supporting cast includes Dermot Mulroney, William Moseley, and Alicia Agneson. The screenplay was written by Adler alongside James Edward Barker and Andy Conway.
Produced by Lionsgate, Grindstone Entertainment Group, Signature Films, and Rollercoaster Angel Productions, the film earned 5 million USD at the worldwide box office. On TMDB, it holds a rating of 6/10 based on 584 votes. This audience score is higher than the rating from film critics, who gave the movie a 3/10 across 20 reviews.
