My Favorite Shapes by Julio Torres

This multimedia comedy show features Julio Torres exploring a variety of his preferred shapes. Using an industrial conveyor belt to present objects such as a plexiglass square, a triangle, and a cactus, Torres uses these items as catalysts for jokes, personal anecdotes, and imaginative tales. These include a story about an oval wanting to be a circle and a dispute with a Ferrero Rocher chocolate regarding a missing skirt.

Directed by Dave McCary, this project followed his 2017 film Brigsby Bear. The production was a collaboration between A24, 3 Arts Entertainment, Broadway Video, and Space Prince, with a screenplay written by Torres. Alongside Torres appearing as himself, the cast features the voices of Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The film has a runtime of 57 minutes.
