SOL

Sol is a comedy about a renowned Argentine Tango performer who has spent many years living in Buenos Aires. Despite her public persona, she carries the emotional pain of having lost her only son, Raphaël, after cutting off all ties with him. Sol returns to Paris seeking a connection with Jo, her seven-year-old grandson, and his mother, Eva, whom she has never met. Overcome by fear upon seeing them, she pretends she is interested in renting a nearby studio. She then attempts to build a relationship with her new neighbors through this deception.

The film was directed by Jézabel Marques, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Faïza Guène and Vincent Cappello. The cast is led by Chantal Lauby in the title role, appearing with Camille Chamoux, Giovanni Pucci, Serge Bagdassarian, Yannick Renier, and Dominique MacAvoy.
