Bros

Bros is a romantic comedy about Bobby, a New York podcast host and LGBTQ+ activist who has built his life around independence and brief encounters arranged through an app. At a club he meets Aaron, a lawyer who grew up in a small town and keeps his sexuality more private. The two seem to have little in common, and both consider themselves poorly suited to commitment, yet they begin spending time together around the city and gradually move toward a relationship, working through their differences and their own preconceptions along the way.

Nicholas Stoller directed and co-wrote the film with Billy Eichner, with Judd Apatow among the producers. It sits between Storks and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and Animals United 2: The Chilldown in Stoller's directing credits, following Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and preceding Animals United 2: The Chilldown. Eichner plays Bobby, Luke Macfarlane plays Aaron, and the supporting cast includes Guy Branum, Miss Lawrence, Ts Madison and Dot-Marie Jones. The production involved 65 credited cast members and 56 credited crew members.

Released in late September 2022, the film had a budget of 22 million USD and took about 15 million USD worldwide, a return well below its cost. On IMDb it holds 6.3/10 from 39,000 votes, and on TMDB 6.6/10 from 594 votes, while a critics' rating of 7.5/10 from 231 reviews is noticeably higher than either audience figure.
