Short description

Four years after the events of Halloween in 2018, Laurie has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.

What's left behind the scenes

  • Corey (played by Roen Campbell) is a new character in the franchise, inspired by Arnie (played by Keith Gordon) from John Carpenter's horror film "Christine" (1983). He has the same hairstyle, shirt, and glasses as Arnie.
  • At the beginning of the film, the characters of Roen Campbell and Jackson Goldenberg watch John Carpenter's 1982 horror film "The Thing." This is a reference to the original, where Laurie and Tommy watch the 1951 science fiction horror film "The Thing from Another World" by Christian Nyby and Howard Hawks (titled "The Thing from Another World" in English), as well as to Carpenter, who directed the original "Halloween" (1978).
