Three Days and a Life

Set in the Ardennes during Christmas 1999, this crime drama focuses on a young boy named Antoine. His life is upended by the death of a dog, a violent storm, and the disappearance of a child. While the village searches for the missing boy and suspicion falls on various residents, Antoine carries the secret of what actually happened. Fifteen years later, Antoine returns to his hometown after studying medicine. As workers begin clearing storm damage from the forest, he fears his past will be uncovered and makes a fateful decision.

The film was directed by Nicolas Boukhrief, who previously directed Cash Truck in 2004 and later released Like a Son in 2024. The screenplay was written by Pierre Lemaitre and Perrine Margaine. The cast features Sandrine Bonnaire, Charles Berling, Pablo Pauly, Margot Bancilhon, Philippe Torreton, and Dimitri Storoge.
