Blood Vessel

Set during the final stages of World War II, this story follows survivors of a torpedoed hospital ship who are drifting in the North Atlantic. Deprived of food and water, the group finds a potential lifeline when they encounter a silent German minesweeper. Upon boarding the vessel, they discover that the original crew suffered a terrible fate. The survivors encounter a young Romanian girl who guides them toward a locked room deep inside the ship, where they face a threat more dangerous than the war itself.

The film was directed by Justin Dix, who also co-wrote the screenplay and served as a producer. This production followed his 2012 film Crawlspace. The cast features Nathan Phillips, Alyssa Sutherland, Robert Taylor, Christopher Kirby, Alex Cooke, and Mark Diaco, among 33 credited actors. Produced in Australia by Wicked of Oz Studios and Rock Island Films, the movie blends the horror, fantasy, and war genres.
