Kanguva

This action fantasy thriller follows a man in the modern era who discovers he was once a warrior from an ancient time. His current life as a bounty hunter or officer becomes linked to his previous existence after he encounters a mutant child, leading to a quest to complete a mission left unfinished centuries ago.

Directed by Siva, this project is the fourth feature film in his career, following Siruthai, Daruvu, and Annaatthe. The movie stars Suriya in a dual role as Francis Theodore and Kanguva, alongside Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, and B. S. Avinash. The production was handled by UV Creations and Studio Green with a screenplay by Adhi Narayana.

The film had a budget of 38 million USD but earned 12 million USD at the worldwide box office, indicating it did not recoup its production costs. Audience reception has been poor, as shown by a 3.8/10 rating on TMDB based on 32 votes.
