Short description

An oil platform sinks suddenly off the coast of Norway, prompting researchers to investigate the cause. They discover that the disaster was caused by a massive underwater fissure that threatens other nearby platforms and the mainland. As evacuations begin, a rescue team heads toward the center of the crisis to save a trapped man, only to face a sea of fire as the resulting oil spill ignites.

This Norwegian action thriller was directed by John Andreas Andersen and follows his 2018 film The Quake. The movie stars Kristine Kujath Thorp, Henrik Bjelland, Rolf Kristian Larsen, Anders Baasmo Christiansen, Bjørn Floberg, and Anneke von der Lippe. Produced by companies including Film i Väst and Nordisk Film & TV Fond, the production had a budget of 8 million USD and earned 4 million USD at the worldwide box office.
