Short description

Holly Slept Over is a comedy about a married couple whose relationship is shaken up when the wife's former college roommate comes to stay with them. Audra tells her husband Noel about a past sexual encounter she had with Holly back in college, and when Holly unexpectedly visits, the revelation changes the dynamic between the three of them. Noel, who has been fixated on the idea after talking with his friend Pete, proposes a threesome, and the household tension builds as the couple's marriage faces a test.

The film was directed and written by Joshua Friedlander. It stars Josh Lawson as Noel, Britt Lower as Audra, and Nathalie Emmanuel as Holly, with Erinn Hayes as Marnie, Ron Livingston as Pete, and Kimberly G. Grader in an uncredited role as a lawyer.

Released in 2020, the film runs 87 minutes. It holds a rating of 5.6 out of 10 on IMDb, based on around 2,500 votes, and the same score on TMDB from a much smaller pool of 57 votes. The two audiences agree closely on the film, and the limited number of votes on TMDB suggests it found a relatively modest viewership.
