Angel Sign is a Japanese drama and family film that functions as an anthology of several short stories. The movie is presented without any spoken dialogue, relying entirely on music and visual imagery to convey its narratives. Tsukasa Hojo served as the primary director, handling both the prologue and epilogue, while the remaining segments were directed by a variety of different filmmakers selected through the Silent Manga Audition.
This production marked the debut of Tsukasa Hojo as a live-action film director. Other directors involved include Nonzee Nimibutr, for whom this was the first of three listed works, and Kamila Andini, who directed this after Sekar. Ham Tran directed this after Hollow and She's the Boss, while Masatsugu Asahi directed it after Flower 2. Ken Ochiai also contributed as a director. The ensemble cast features Nao Matsushita as Aika and Dean Fujioka as Takaya, alongside Naoto Ogata, Momoko Kikuchi, Ngô Quang Tuấn, and Xuân Văn. The film was released on November 7, 2019, with a total runtime of 105 minutes.
