Trapito

A scarecrow named Trapito rescues a sparrow called Salapin during a storm. In gratitude, Salapin encourages the scarecrow to leave his post in the wheat field to explore the world. After a bird patriarch determines that Trapito lacks the ability to imagine, Salapin agrees to serve as his fantasy. The pair eventually befriends a clumsy farmer named Largirucho. While visiting a city to sell cheese, Largirucho discovers his money has been stolen. To settle the debt at a restaurant, a cook takes the farmer's pig as collateral, giving the group seven days to find work and pay the bill before the animal is slaughtered.
