Pari

Pari is a drama about a devout Iranian couple who travel to Athens to visit their son, a student living in Greece. When the young man fails to meet them at the airport or appear at his given address, the parents are forced to search for him in an unfamiliar and intimidating environment. As they navigate a city marked by street unrest and barricades, Pari finds herself stepping out of her traditional role as a submissive wife to lead the search. Using her knowledge of English to communicate with strangers, she gains personal independence and courage while tracking her rebellious son through the city.
