Battered Husband

Lando is a relaxed fisherman who finds enjoyment in a yearly cross-dressing festival called Aguman Sanduk with his male peers. However, his private life in a secluded hut is defined by a hidden struggle with domestic violence. His wife, Lori, physically and verbally abuses him, a behavior Lando accepts due to his own guilt after Lori discovered him meeting an ex-girlfriend. As Lori prepares to move abroad for work as a domestic helper, her resentment persists, eventually leading her to realize she no longer loves her husband during a moment of intimacy.

This Philippine drama was directed and written by Ralston Jover. The film features Allen Dizon in the role of Lando and Lovi Poe as Lori. Produced by Solar Pictures and BG Productions International, the movie was released on March 17, 2020, with a total runtime of 85 minutes. The production team included producers Ferdinand Lapuz, Baby Go, and Jose Go Marasigan.
