Psycho Therapy: The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decided to Write About a Serial Killer

Keane is a writer facing professional obstacles and a failing marriage to his wife, Suzie. He forms an unlikely friendship with Kollmick, a retired serial killer. Through a series of events, Kollmick begins providing guidance to Keane on two fronts: he offers advice on repairing the writer's relationship during the day and provides technical expertise on homicide to help Keane complete a new book at night. This dynamic creates tension as Suzie begins to worry that her husband's sudden interest in the tools of murder suggests he intends to kill her.

Directed and written by Tolga Karaçelik, this film follows his previous works Toll Booth and Butterflies. The movie stars Steve Buscemi as Kollmick, alongside John Magaro as Keane and Britt Lower as Suzie, with supporting roles played by Ward Horton, Olli Haaskivi, and Sydney Cole Alexander. Produced by companies including Olive Productions and Curious Gremlin, the project is a co-production between the United States and Turkey. Since its release on April 4, 2025, the film has received a rating of 6.9/10 on TMDB based on 76 votes.
