Short description

A sorceress transports a group of friends from the present day back to the era of King Arthur, knights, and dragons. While in the Middle Ages, Shaggy accidentally pulls the sword Excalibur from its stone, causing widespread chaos and casting doubt on the rightful ruler of Camelot. The group must work with King Arthur and Merlin to stop the evil magic controlling the kingdom and find a way to return home.

This animated adventure was produced by Warner Bros. Animation and co-directed by Maxwell Atoms, Melchior Zwyer, and Christina Sotta. For Maxwell Atoms, this project followed Happy Halloween and Scooby-Doo! (2020). Melchior Zwyer previously directed LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League - Gotham City Breakout (2016), and Christina Sotta directed Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (2020). The screenplay was written by Atoms and Jeremy Adams.

The voice cast features Matthew Lillard, Frank Welker, Grey DeLisle, and Kate Micucci, with Jason Isaacs voicing King Arthur Pendragon and Nick Frost as Merlin. Since its release, the film has received a rating of 6.1/10 on IMDb from 1,900 votes and a higher rating of 7.5/10 on TMDB from 203 votes.
