Set in the Netherlands, this animated family film follows Pluto, a milk delivery worker who falls in love with a dachshund named Dinah. During a moment of excitement, Pluto accidentally triggers a flood alarm bell, leading the townspeople to believe the local dike is leaking. Once the mistake is discovered, the two dogs are banished from the community. However, as they depart, they find a genuine leak in the dike. While Dinah works to plug the hole, Pluto must find a way to convince the skeptical residents to follow him and address the emergency.
