Short description
Clean is a crime drama about a garbage collector who struggles with the memories of a violent former life. While attempting to live quietly and find redemption, he finds himself targeted by a local crime leader. To protect those he cares about, he is forced to return to a world of conflict and violence.
The film was directed by Paul Solet, who also co-wrote the screenplay and produced the movie alongside Adrien Brody and Daniel Sollinger. In Solet's career as a director, this project follows Tread and precedes Chowchilla. Adrien Brody stars in the title role and also served as a writer and producer. The supporting cast includes Glenn Fleshler, Richie Merritt, Mykelti Williamson, and Chandler Ari DuPont.

- Ten days after filming began, work on the film was suspended by IATSE (the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees – a union representing over 168,000 people, the organization includes live theater, film and television production, broadcasting and trade shows). The film crew demanded adherence to union rules during filming, but the producers categorically refused to sign a contract with the union. An agreement was reached only after several days, and filming resumed.
