Lansky

An elderly Meyer Lansky, the former leader of the National Crime Syndicate and Murder Inc., lives in retirement in Miami. While federal agents investigate him in hopes of finding millions of dollars he allegedly hid over five decades, Lansky begins recounting his rise from a street criminal to a powerful figure in the American mafia. He shares these memories with a journalist named David Stone, detailing his collaborations with other underworld figures to establish a massive criminal organization and develop Las Vegas.

Directed by Eytan Rockaway, this is the second film in his directing career following The Abandoned. Rockaway also co-wrote the screenplay with Robert Rockaway. The movie stars Harvey Keitel in the title role, alongside Sam Worthington as the reporter, and John Magaro as the younger version of Lansky. The supporting cast includes Minka Kelly and David James Elliott.
