Set in 1945 during the Second World War, this film follows a squad of American soldiers sent into the German Black Forest. After a military cargo plane crashes behind enemy lines, Major Johnson orders a rescue operation to recover top-secret materials. Led by Sergeants Brewer and Walsh, the team discovers corpses marked with ancient magical symbols and fallen Nazi soldiers. As they venture deeper into the woods, their equipment fails and their senses are distorted, leaving them vulnerable to attacks from a powerful supernatural force.

The movie was directed by Mauro Borrelli, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Scott Svatos and Reggie Keyohara III. In the director's career, this production follows Haunted Forest, The Ghostmaker, The Recall, and Mindcage, and precedes The Last Supper. The cast features Mickey Rourke as Major Johnson, Robert Knepper as Sergeant Brewer, and Jackson Rathbone as Walsh, with Aglaya Tarasova, Anna Paliga, and Lou Stassen in supporting roles.
