Short description

A Japanese student named Shin feels his life is empty and monotonous. After reading about the perils of New York City in a book, he travels there seeking inspiration and a break from his routine. Upon arrival, he is quickly targeted by criminals and finds himself struggling. He eventually joins Lee and Takeda, two young men living a lawless lifestyle. As Shin is introduced to the city's underworld, the group's engagement in theft and violence shifts from a game into a deadly reality.

The crime drama was directed by Sion Sono and written by Sono and Kazuyoshi Kumakiri. It is the sixth of 19 films directed by Sono, following Strange Circus and preceding Love Exposure.
