Lino is a gifted mechanic whose skills with cars have mostly served a life of small-time crime. When a robbery goes wrong and he is arrested, the head of a hard-charging police unit offers him a way out of prison: work as the mechanic for his task force. Lino proves his worth, but his position collapses when he is wrongly accused of murder. To clear his name he has to find the only thing that can prove his innocence, a bullet lodged inside a car that has disappeared.
The film is directed and written by Guillaume Pierret and stars Alban Lenoir as Lino, alongside Nicolas Duvauchelle, Rod Paradot, Ramzy Bedia, Stéfi Celma and Arthur Aspaturian. It is a Belgian-French action crime thriller, made by Inoxy Films, Nolita and Versus Production, and runs 92 minutes. It is the first feature Pierret directed, followed chronologically by Lost Bullet 2 and then Last Bullet.
Made on a modest scale, the film drew a limited theatrical audience during a period when cinemas were widely closed, and it found a much larger viewership after arriving on Netflix. On IMDb it holds 6.4 out of 10 from around 17,000 votes, while on TMDB it holds 6.6 out of 10 from roughly 950 votes. A smaller group of critics rated it 5.6 out of 10, slightly below the audience scores.
