Heavier Trip

The members of the heavy metal band Impaled Rektum are serving time in a Norwegian prison. After learning that the reindeer farm owned by the parents of their guitarist, Lotvonen, is at risk of being sold, the musicians decide to escape. Their goal is to travel to Germany and perform at the Wacken festival to earn the money needed to save the family property. The group faces various obstacles during their journey toward the festival's main stage.

This comedy was co-directed by Juuso Laatio and Jukka Vidgren, who also wrote the screenplay. Both directors previously worked together on Heavy Trip in 2018. The film was produced through a collaboration between companies in Germany, Belgium, Finland, and Estonia. The cast features Johannes Holopainen, Samuli Jaskio, Chike Ohanwe, Max Ovaska, Anatole Taubman, and Helén Vikstvedt, with 40 credited performers in total.
