Fried Barry

Fried Barry centres on a man named Barry, whose life of heavy drinking and drug use leaves him estranged and self-destructive. During one of his binges he is taken by aliens. One of the visitors takes over his body and uses it to travel through Cape Town, exposing the alien to sex, drugs and violence as Barry, now a passenger in his own body, watches from the sidelines.

The film is a South African science fiction horror comedy directed by Ryan Kruger, who also wrote the screenplay and produced it with James C. Williamson. It is his first feature as director, followed by Street Trash. Gary Green plays Barry, with Chanelle de Jager, Brett Williams, Joey Cramer, Bianka Hartenstein and Sean Cameron Michael among the cast.
