Deadlock

A retired soldier living in a small town finds his peace interrupted when a group of mercenaries seizes a local energy plant. Led by a man named Ron, the attackers take the facility's employees and a group of visiting students hostage. The protagonist must rely on his military background to stop the group from causing a catastrophe and destroying the surrounding area. As he fights to save the captives, he discovers the personal motivations driving the attackers and a secret kept by the town.

Directed by Jared Cohn, this action thriller is the eighth of 19 films in his career, released after A Stalker in the House and before Swim. Cohn also co-wrote the screenplay with Cam Cannon. The movie stars Patrick Muldoon as Mack and Bruce Willis as Ron Whitlock, with a supporting cast that includes Matthew Marsden, Michael Devorzon, Kelly Lynn Reiter, and Johnny Messner.

The film received generally poor feedback from viewers. It holds a rating of 3.6/10 on IMDb based on 2,500 votes and a slightly higher score of 5.1/10 on TMDB from 90 votes.
