A womanizer named Charles and a gold digger named Elaine both use illegal robotic doubles to trick people into romantic relationships for their own benefit. When their respective robots meet, the machines fall in love and run away together. To prevent the authorities from discovering their illegal activities, the two humans must work together to find and retrieve their android copies.
