The Reef: Stalked

Four women travel to a remote Pacific island for a kayaking and diving holiday, hoping the trip will help Nic move past the trauma of her sister's murder. Hours into their first outing on the water, a large shark begins trailing them, and the friends must work together to survive and confront what they fear most.

The Reef: Stalked is an Australian horror thriller directed and written by Andrew Traucki, who also produced it with Michael Robertson and Neal Kingston. It is the fifth film he directed, following Black Water, The Reef, The ABCs of Death and Black Water: Abyss. Teressa Liane plays Nic, with Ann Truong, Saskia Archer, Kate Lister, Bridget Burt and Tim Ross in supporting roles. The film runs 93 minutes and was released in July 2022.

It earned about 1 million USD worldwide, a modest return for a low-budget genre release. On IMDb it holds 4.2 out of 10 from around 6,400 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 5.3 out of 10 from roughly 281 votes. A critics' rating of 5.7 out of 10 from 21 reviews places it above both audience scores, though the margin is small. The vote counts suggest the film reached a genre audience rather than a broad one.
