Miracle: Letters to the President

Set in a remote mountain village during the 1980s, this drama follows Joon-kyung, a mathematically gifted student who wants to establish a train station for his community. Because trains pass through the area without stopping, the local residents must navigate dangerous tracks to travel. After his numerous letters to the President go unanswered, Joon-kyung attempts to build a station himself and seeks a way to meet the leader in person. He is supported by his sister, his fellow villagers, and Ra-hee, a friend who has romantic feelings for him.

The film was directed by Lee Jang-hoon, who previously directed Be With You in 2018. The screenplay was written by Lee Jang-hoon and Shon Joo-yeon. The main cast includes Park Jeong-min as Jung Joon-kyeong, Yoona as Song Ra-hee, Lee Sung-min, Lee Soo-kyung, Jung Moon-sung, and Kim Kang-hoon. Produced by Blossom Pictures, the movie earned 6 million USD at the worldwide box office.
