Justice Society: World War II

Barry Allen, the Flash, pushes his speed beyond anything he has attempted before. The attempt throws him backward through time, and he lands in the middle of the Second World War, where Wonder Woman leads a secret team of costumed heroes called the Justice Society of America. Stranded far from his own era, he joins the group as it fights the Axis, while he searches for a way to return to his own timeline.

Jeff Wamester directed this animated feature, his first turn behind the camera on a DC film; he went on to direct Green Lantern: Beware My Power, Justice League: Warworld, Legion of Super-Heroes and the three-part Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths. Jeremy Adams and Meghan Fitzmartin wrote the screenplay, and the voice cast includes Matt Bomer as the Flash, Stana Katic as Wonder Woman, Omid Abtahi as Hawkman, Chris Diamantopoulos as Steve Trevor, Matthew Mercer as Hourman and Armen Taylor as Jay Garrick.

Released in April 2021 by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, the film runs eighty-four minutes. On IMDb it holds a 6.4 rating from around ten thousand votes, while on TMDB it sits at 7.4 from several hundred votes.
