Employee of the Month

Vincent Peltier is a civil servant who enjoys the stability of his government position. When a new savings plan leads to staff reductions, he becomes the target of an overzealous inspector determined to make him quit. This conflict results in a series of transfers to the most remote and difficult locations on Earth, including the Amazon jungle and Greenland. Eventually, Vincent is sent to the North Pole, where he meets Eva and falls in love, forcing him to make a choice about his future.

The comedy was directed by Jérôme Commandeur, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Xavier Maingon. This was the first of two films directed by Commandeur, followed by Class Reunion in 2025. Commandeur stars as the lead character, appearing alongside Laetitia Dosch, Pascale Arbillot, Nicole Calfan, Éva Darlan, and Estéban. The production involved companies such as SND, Medset Film, and Macadam Films.
