The Power

Set in London in 1974, this horror film follows Val, a trainee nurse starting her first day at the decaying East London Royal Infirmary. As the country faces widespread electrical blackouts, most staff and patients are evacuated, leaving Val alone for a night shift in a nearly empty building. While navigating the darkness, she encounters a malevolent force and a deadly secret that force her to confront her deepest fears and a traumatic past.

The cast is led by Rose Williams in the role of Val, appearing alongside Charlie Carrick, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Theo Barklem-Biggs, Nuala McGowan, and Emma Catherine Rigby. The production was a collaboration between the BFI, Stigma Films, Head Gear Films, and Metrol Technology.
