Do Revenge

At a wealthy private high school, Drea Torres sees her social standing collapse when a private video of her becomes public, apparently through the actions of her boyfriend, Max. Eleanor Levetan, a new transfer student, is unhappy to find herself at the same school as Carissa, who spread a damaging rumour about her years earlier at summer camp. After an unexpected meeting, the two agree to a secret arrangement: each will go after the other's tormentor.

Jennifer Kaytin Robinson directed the film, her second feature after Someone Great (2019) and before I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025), and wrote the screenplay with Celeste Ballard. Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke lead the cast as Drea and Eleanor, alongside Austin Abrams, Rish Shah, Talia Ryder and Sarah Michelle Gellar. The production, from Likely Story, is a comedy that also draws on romance and thriller elements across its 118-minute running time.

Critical response was moderately positive: a film critics' rating of 6.5/10 from 83 reviews sits slightly above the audience scores of 6.3/10 on IMDb from around 57,000 votes and 6.4/10 on TMDB from roughly a thousand votes. The three figures are close together, indicating a film that found a reasonably receptive audience without strong divergence between reviewers and viewers.
