Vivian Lee is a skilled competitive gamer whose college scholarship depends on her membership in the university esports team. After leaving the male-dominated squad due to the behavior of her teammates, she discovers a way to keep her funding by forming a new varsity-level team. With the help of a coach and her friend Sloane, Vivian recruits a group of outsiders to compete in the state finals and challenge her former teammates.
