Kate and her daughter Beth live in a secluded farmhouse surrounded by woods. As they attempt to build a new life together, Kate becomes concerned that a sinister presence or a conflict from her past is returning to threaten them. The story focuses on Kate's struggle to protect her child as she suspects something dangerous is happening around their home.
